You say Mauritius……. I say Marvelous...!!

How can you not swoon over an island that offers you year round sunshine, bottomless coconut umbrella drinks, every type of spa treatment imaginable, and hordes of helpful cabana boys?!

I hear you saying “guyz",Where in the heck is Mauritius?” I asked myself the same thing. My giant world map suggests that it is a small island about an inch and a half east of Madagascar… lounging peacefully in the Indian Ocean…a haven blissfully unaware of chaos elsewhere on the planet.

Mauritius, a tropical island situated in the Indian Ocean off the east coast of
Africa, is 60km long and 40 km wide, with a coastline of 160km which is
completely surrounded by coral reef. Mauritius has all the beauty of the most
exotic retreats, the island basking in splendid isolation of the warmest ocean.

After a bruising, 6-hour red-eye flight from Mumbai, we arrived on the south side of the equator - half-conscious and cranky - at the crack of dawn. At the tropical Resort, we found ourselves blissfully greeted by chirping birds, crashing waves, fresh mango juice...

Got freshed & gave a quick call to our family on our safe reach....Followed by Delicious buffet including Chinese ,Italian,Mexican and delicious Indian cuisine....not to mention lots of fruits & salads...Yummy...

Mauritius mornings are pleasantly cool and its the best time to laze around, especially if your resort overlooks the pristine but calm beach. Taken near the lobby of Berjaya Le Morne, this is one of the memorable mornings of our 4N / 5D trip....

Waiting for the Cab to take us on an exotic tour to to an Island Ile Aux cerfs

We got on a little boat that took us to Ile Aux Cerfs. There were all sorts of European tourists enjoying the sun, sand, and surf. The water was crystal clear. There were palms everywhere. Again, it was quite nice.
